People displaced
Martin’s ongoing work on migration and displacement spans hundreds of magazine pages and has had him living in or reporting from more than fifteen refugee camps around the world, with a focus on Europe and its borders.
Working for top Swedish and European magazines together with independent journalists, he has delivered over thirty stories on the topic — from the Maltese hangars at Europe’s southern edge, to the decades-old Sahrawi camps in Algeria, to the Syrian families building urban lives far beyond the headlines.
